<p><strong>Professional Qualifications:</strong> <br />The desired candidate should have 8 years of hospitality design experience managing the development, design and construction of hotels and resorts. S/he should have a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design or higher degree. The candidate will possess NCIDQ certification and LEED accreditation is a plus. The candidate will have various computer skills including Auto CAD and Photoshop required. Revit, Sketch up and LEED accreditation a plus. Portfolio required.</p>

<p><strong>Description of the Position:</strong> <br />The Assistant Director of Design will be responsible for the following:<br /> Act as primary point of contact for clients on projects.<br /> Manage a team of designers.<br /> Develop project schedules and determine project teams.<br /> Collaborate with Design Directors to create and drive new innovations and concepts.<br /> Work together with the Managing Director and Director of Design, lead and drive the creative direction on hospitality design projects including renovations, conversions and new builds.<br /> Review all projects with Managing Director of Design on a weekly basis.<br /> Review peer drawings for accuracy and completeness.<br /> Study current trends, color, design technology, sustainability in design and manufacturing techniques.
